Bass Big in Texas
Originally uploaded by Cat Spring, Texas
My friend Richard began his “career” as Rancher Richard, helping around BlissWood Bed-Breakfast & Spa at Lehmann Legacy Ranch in Cat Spring Texas. He soon earned the title of BlissWood Bassman, as he found out he had first a passion for fishing and the challenge of always trying for a bigger catch; secondly, he so enjoys being the fishing guide for guests at BlissWood. Here he is showing off his catch at Carol’s at Cat Spring Restaurant. Richard is still trying for the bigger one, as he does not hold the title for the biggest fish. That title right now belongs to a BlissWood guest, bass measuring 24 inches. Richard also holds the pretigious title of BlissWood Bluebird Boxman.

Islands/Gazebo on Enchanted Lake at Cat Spring Texas

My dogs and I take our morning walks to this peaceful, relaxing scene and they get to romp around while I’m spending some quiet time meditating and contemplating my life before the reservations come in at BlissWood Bed-Breakfast & Spa. I reminisce about the weddings here in the gazabo, as many brides and grooms begin their life here at Enchanted lake, and I think about the romantic proposals and the tears of joy that are spent here, along with the picnics for two from Carol’s at Cat Spring Restaurant.

Three Donkeys Two Chardonnays
Originally uploaded by Cat Spring, Texas
My boyfriend and I were in the meadow at BlissWood Bed & Breakfast enjoying a picnic and a glass of chardonnay when three curious donkeys appeared ,and simultaneously they all put their heads on our picnic table and begged to have a drink. A humorous photo opportunity before the donkies “staggered” away to leave us to finish our wine and enjoy the scenery.
