Carol’s at Cat Spring was excited to be participants at the Houston Rodeo Uncorked Best Bites competition. What was even more exciting was that we won Third Place! There were over 60 Houston area restaurants competing, and more than 4,500 wine and food enthusiasts were at the event. Carol’s at Cat Spring was Grand Champion the first year of the event in 2004 and again in 2007. You can see why people love to come to Carol’s and Blisswood for their Texas Weekend Getaway!
In fact, we’ve been recognized for our outstanding cuisine almost every year! We were Reserve Champion in 2005 and won third place in 2006.
Our winning entry this year was a grilled hanger steak with pepper jack cheese grits, drizzled with a maple/thyme vinaigrette.
