BlissWood Bed and Breakfast is not your typical B&B. It’s much more! In addition to a cozy, country getaway, we’re also the perfect place for Texas ranch experience vacations. Our working guest ranch offers a variety of exciting onsite activities, as well as an array of wildlife. Whether you’re a lover of animals or you’re just interested in having an authentic Texas ranch adventure, BlissWood is the way to go.

When you stay with us at BlissWood, you have the opportunity to see all sorts of interesting creatures. But you won’t be limited to seeing them. You can also choose to have a more interactive experience. All of our guests have the option to join us for a morning feeding tour. It’s your chance to get up close and personal with a lot of our animal residents!

In addition to all the usual barnyard animals, you’ll also be able to meet some of our more unusual inhabitants. As you stroll around the property, you might just happen upon some of our black buck antelope, potbellied pigs, alpaca, and miniature donkeys.  It’s also common to come across a peacock or two. Animal lovers will not be disappointed!

And if you’re looking for adventure, you’ve got it. It wouldn’t be a real ranch vacation without some riding! So if your idea of a Texas vacation includes saddling up, you’re in luck. We offer guided horseback rides as well as riding lessons for both children and adults. You’ll love exploring our scenic 650-acre property by horseback.

So if you want to get away and relax in nature, start planning your trip today! You can visit our website to check availability online or just give us a call at 713-301-3235.  We’d love to see you and introduce you to some new furry and feathered friends!
