The Texas Farm House

The restored two-story Texas Farmhouse is completely furnished with antiques from the turn of the Century.  It has two bedrooms:   one upstairs, one downstairs, both have queen beds.  Fully furnished kitchen with working antique 1920's gas stove, working 1926 GE refrigerator.  Cozy living room with rocker & two loveseats; full bath upstairs with antique claw-foot tub; 1/2 bath downstairs. Downstairs bedroom has antique teester bed.  Upstairs bedroom has antique iron bed and private sitting area. Equipped with central AC/heat.  No TV.   Sleeps up to four, with possibility of third person (child) to sleep on cot in sitting area upstairs.   The Texas Farmhouse is near the barn area, and you'll be right in the midst of our real working ranch. Great for people that would love to be up close & personal with some of our favorite farm animals.

Please note that the Blisswood Bed & Breakfast cannot be found with GPS or MapQuest. Driving directions will be provided when reservations are made.

Special rates apply during holidays and special events, such as Antiques Weeks.   Some weekends require a two-night stay, holidays and special events require a three-night stay.  At times we are able to adjust this requirement, so call for availability.
