Texas Elopement Packages Found at Texas Hill Country Bed and Breakfast

Texas Elopement PackagesWeddings take considerable time and effort to plan, and many brides and grooms don’t want to say “I Do’’ to the stresses and pressures involved. Let’s elope, they say. Let’s avoid the hassles of planning a wedding.

To the rescue: all-inclusive Texas elopement packages offered and perfected at our Texas Hill Country Wedding Venue.

Our Romantic Texas Hill Country Bed and Breakfast is situated on a 650-acre working ranch an hour west of Houston in Cat Spring, Texas. With the Texas Hill Country as a backdrop, it’s a perfect setting for elopements, Texas weddings, or a simple romantic weekend getaway.

Richard and Joy didn’t have much time to plan a wedding. The bride is a nurse with the Air Force, serving in Afghanistan. BlissWood took care of all the elopement details: the flowers, the ceremony, the cake, the romantic accommodations.

The couple was married October 6, 2012, in an intimate ceremony at the Gazebo at Enchanted Lake. They exchanged their vows before BlissWood owner Carol Davis, who is also an ordained minister.

They enjoyed champagne, a gourmet dinner at Carol’s Restaurant, a Cat Spring Favorite, and a “tropical’’ mini honeymoon. The Oasis is a tropical setting among the rolling prairies of Texas Hill Country. It truly is an oasis, with a waterfall, orchids in bloom and scenting the air and a small, unheated pool.

Skeeter Hagler, BlissWood’s official photographer and Pulitzer Prize Winner, captured many moments of the couple’s idyllic elopement, which they will have for the rest of their lives.

A wedding at BlissWood – from intimate elopements for two to elaborate events for dozens of guests – is an affair to remember.
