If you live in Texas and have some vacation time coming up, but are at a loss as to what to do, why not “get away” without going very far, and come out to BlissWood Bed & Breakfast Ranch? Technology is overrated, and if you’re not on a big budget but want to go somewhere for a few days to rest, unwind and truly enjoy some quality time with your family, then our peaceful ranch is the place to escape.
Located on five hundred unspoiled acres of countryside in Cat Spring, our Texas guest ranch has plenty of things to keep you occupied. Rent canoes for a fishing trip or just enjoy paddling the canoe in the water to be close to nature. We can’t guarantee you’ll catch a fish, but you will have fun. There are plenty of fish waiting for you to sink your line in the beautiful lake, right here on our property.
You could take a leisurely ride on horseback through many of the winding trails on our land. A guided tour can bring you and your significant other or whole family on a horseback adventure in Texas to remember. After you visit the barn, you’ll fall in love with our friendly, laid-back horses. If you want to get on their good sides, don’t forget to bring a carrot or two.
Maybe you’re more of the Indiana Jones type and like the idea of an authentic Texas adventure? If so, we have a shooting range, bows and arrows, and skeet shooting. You could play a round of golf and then enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner at our onsite restaurant, Carol’s of Cat Spring.
Some other adventures are left to your imagination, but the possibilities are endless. If you are the type who usually stays home on your vacation and then wish you had done something enjoyable for yourself, then BlissWood B&B is calling your name. We are conveniently located less than an hour away from Houston, and all ages are welcome. Bring your family and escape the boredom of your house for a few days.
Book a mini-getaway for one night, two, three or a week. We are very down-to-earth and hospitable. Contact BlissWood Bed and Breakfast Ranch at 713-301-3235 to get your vacation on a real Texas ranch locked down!
